Xfce crashing when I run it with my wlan card plugged in

Thanks for your help anyway. I'll try to upgrade x, and then think
about my next steps later.
The oddest thing though: when I (my friend, that is) installed linux
and xfce4, the wlan card and x worked quite hapily together. So there
is hope :)

Anyway... is xfce4 working problem-free with the X11R7, or should I
stick with X11R6.9?
