Greetings.

I'm trying to track down an odd bug.

If you setup a vncserver ~/.vnc/xstartup (or possibly a real
.xsession, etc) to do:

xfwm4 &
xfce4-desktop &

Some of the time on starting the session, xfce4-desktop will die with
a segfault. It might be that they are both trying to talk to the
xfce-mcs-manager at the same time?

If you put a 'sleep 2' in between the two, they both work.
If you use the normal 'startxfce4' everything works fine.

More info at:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=177459

Last bit of an strace of a xfce4-desktop before it dies:

...
11133 ioctl(3, FIONREAD, [0]) = 0
11133 gettimeofday({1136958519, 798003}, NULL) = 0
11133 poll([{fd=3, events=POLLIN}], 1, 0) = 0
11133 write(3, "5\20\4\0\237\0@\0g\0@\0\177\1\32\0;\3\7\0/\0@\0\0\0\0\0"..., 3468) = 3468
11133 ioctl(3, FIONREAD, [0]) = 0
11133 gettimeofday({1136958519, 798899}, NULL) = 0
11133 poll([{fd=3, events=POLLIN}], 1, 0) = 0
11133 gettimeofday({1136958519, 798985}, NULL) = 0
11133 nanosleep({0, 10000000}, {5455804, 4194407}) = 0
11133 --- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
11133 +++ killed by SIGSEGV (core dumped) +++

Anyone have any ideas? Should I file this as a bug?

(Obviously, using startxfce4 is the right thing to do, but this setup
shouldn't cause xfce4-desktop to segfault I wouldn't think).
