Loading Status Feedback

Hi,

I've started using xfce a few months ago.  I really like the simplicity 
and speed.

There is one piece of UI that I feel could use some improvement - user 
feedback when something is launching.  For instance, many windows 
managers change the cursor to show this event.

Other than this (well this and having that mail checker work with IMAP), 
I haven't found anything else lacking thus far.
