#My environment is:

# In X, $LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8
#I often use "startx" command,

>I'm using Gentoo with Xfce as desktop (with GDM for login).
I think "with GDM for login" causes such a problem.
Does GDM load ".bashrc" and export "LC_COLLATE='ja_JP.UTF-8'"?
