troubleshooting weather plugin

Hello,

I just upgraded my system, and now the weather plugin cannot 
communicate.  On my old system, RHEL 3 with Xfce 4.0.5, the weather 
plugin still works when I reboot.  But on my new system, RHEL 4 with 
Xfce 4.2.3.2 and xfce4-weather-plugin-0.3.9.1-2, I get "Cannot update 
weather data".

How does this app communicate?  A special port?  Or...?

I can't find anything in the system logs.  What's the best bet to 
troubleshoot this thing?
