Xfdesktop problems. Wallpaper doesn't change.

Hi,

I've installed a VectorLinux distro with XFCE as my default desktop.

I can't change my desktop wallpaper directly from the program settings. If I
Try with Alt+F2 and prompt "xfdesktop" my desktop is updated. Now every
times I log in a new session I need a first time to launch xfdesktop and
after I can change my wallpaper.

How can I fix this problem ?
