Ah, now I get it... I've read some articles about Xgl and Compriz and 
they all talk about them being a window manager with a compositor. But 
this is just an extra layer between your own composite enabled WM (XFWM4 
in my case) and the X server.

Although I usually disable all motion effects when working on Windows, 
it would be pretty cool to see this in action... Hardware accelerated 
window drawing may even speed things up a little...
