Icons on the Desktop

There's a lot of ways to do that with Xfce SVN (development version):
- Xfdesktop has support for icons for minimized windows. Brian seems to
be working on adding support for icons for files on the the desktop too.
- Xffm has a desktop view (replacement for Xfdesktop) with file icon
support.
- Thunar[1] will eventually have support for desktop icons (also a
replacement for Xfdesktop).

You can use non-Xfce software for desktop icon support with Xfce 4.2, eg
Rox or Nautilus.
