Other fixes for xfce4 bug #77445 in Ubuntu?

From https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xfce4/+bug/77445
Binary package hint: xfce4

Xubuntu Edgy 6.10, Xfce 4.3.99rc1: Go into Settings -> User Interface Preferences to change the icon theme. Changing the theme to either default or Grounation crashes Xfce. It won't start again, either. To get Xfce up again I had to restore the .config directory from backup. I haven't determined which configuration file is corrupted yet. I haven't found anything in any log file.

The fix is to restore your .config directory from backup. If you don’t have a backup you can copy it from another user directory or even /root and then
sudo chmod -R : .config
--- end quote ---

bug fixed in Xfce 4.3.99 rc2 ??
