I'd concur with Foxy - I just got it working with Xfce on ubuntu. Not
that I've kept it, I'm not sure it's stable enough for me yet! Installed
using the omnipresent howtos, then ran:
killall xfwm
beryl --replace &
emerald --replace &
beryl-manager
