Menu commands to open applications as root - how to?

Nope.  No gnome-sudo.  I doubt that I can install an Ubuntu package on 
PCLinuxOS.

It's not an issue for me, anyway.  I use several Kde packages so I have 
to install Kde (and Gnome, because I use File-Roller) in addition to Xfce.
