Menu configuration : icons

Well, this is just a quick question here, since I can't reach xfce.org 
this morning...

I'd like to have an iconless menu. I know I can do by not assigning any 
icon to each item contained in the menu, but icons remain in the system 
menu. Moreover, there is still a white space before the iconless menu 
items.

What I'd like would be a general argument to tell the menu to be 
"iconless" (wasn't this possible in earlier version ?)
