xmms output plugin

Hi! maybe someone can help me with this.
Everytime I open xmms, the output plugin is the libALSA.so and doesn't seems
to work.
If I choose the libOSS.so plugin, works fine.
But the next time I open it, is the same thing.
I don't know why the ALSA plugin doesn't work, but really don't care, I just
want to open the xmms and don't have to do that change.
any help?
