Yes, I know Krusder and that's the proof there is a need of 2-panes FM.
The only problem with Krusader is that I don't like QT-based
UI and KDE. Yes, it's just my personal problem :-)
I only like QT architecture (especially signal/slots feature) but it's
bloated and heavy for me. GTK is my choice so I'm looking for simple,
fast, 2-panes GTK+ based file manager.

Thunar seems to be a good foundation for this.
