problems compiling xfce4-mixer

Hi,

I'm having problems to compile svn version of xfce4-mixer...
it dies with this error:

I think this may be a version problem with libxml.. this is my configure 
output about xml:

checking for libxml-2.0 >= 2.4.0... 2.6.19
checking XML_CFLAGS... -I/usr/include/libxml2
checking XML_LIBS... -lxml2 -lpthread -lz -lm

... any sugestion?
