True.

And just to make this mail somewhat less useless (though just as OT),
I'll add that most non-redistribute disclaimers attached to emails are
more useful in company-to-company communication, when NDAs are in place.
 With most NDAs, the company that wants to protect information usually
has to specifically say "this information is Company XYZ confidential"
or somesuch for said information to be protected under the NDA.  It's
easier (and safer) to explicitly declare each and every email to be
confidential, and then give permission to distribute information as needed.

Still, though, that's not the only place where email disclaimers are
enforceable.  This is just probably the only place where they are
enforceable in a clear-cut manner, since all this falls under some
well-defined aspects of contract law (as I understand it, anyway).

At any rate, IANAL, so for all practical purposes, I don't know what I'm
talking about.
