port of old splashscreen for 4.2?

Hi people,

I want to know if there is a port of the old (4.0.x) splashscreen to new 4.2. 
I like it very much. I charmed with the info text that appears at bottom of 
image and that image does not ocupy all the screen and you see the changes in 
the real screen.

[Of 4.2, I like the design of "mice" theme but I miss info text and that it 
does not ocupy all the screen. If there were a modified "mice" version, I 
will make it the default splashscreen theme in my 4.2]
