Hello All,
Can anyone point to the cause of this message:

# sh ./xfce4-4.2.2-installer.bin
Verifying file integrity... OK.
Extracting the installer... OK.
Checking for usable C compiler... gcc
Checking for usable C++ compiler... g++
Checking for GNU make... gmake
Checking for package config tool... pkg-config
Checking for GLib (GModule) >= 2.2.0... detected 2.6.3 in /usr
Checking for Gtk+ >= 2.2.0... detected 2.4.9 in /usr
Compiling installer-gui... failed, see /root/.xfce4.installer-log for
details
Cleaning up... OK.

The log file indicates:
   /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgtk-x11-2.0

But I can see:
/usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.la
/usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so -> libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.600.4*
/usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 -> libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.600.4*
/usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.600.4*

What am I missing?
The libgtk-x11-2.0.so was linking to libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.400.9, but this
did not appear to exist so I relinked it to the .600.4 file.... still no
luck.

Cheers,
Paul
