4.2.1: Iconbox Not Working

   I have 4.2.1 installed. For the first time since the upgrade, I tried to
iconify open applications. They just disappeared. Gone. In
~/.config/xfce4/xinitrc the iconbox line is not commented out, so I expected
the icons to be visible at the bottom of the screen, growing upwards.

   Where do I look for the reason?
