I have XFce 4.2 running smoothly on the following boxes:
Intel P233 MMX, 128 MB RAM, 9 GB HD, RIVA TNT2 w/ 32 MB VRAM
AMD K6-2/500, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB HD, S3 Savage 2000 w/ 64 MB VRAM
Both are running WBEL.
The os-cillation installer works well, though I am not able to get GDM
to register XFce 4.2 as a session choice without manual intervention.
Installation on the P233 takes a couple of hours. Updates and upgrading
through WBEL mirrors, Dag Wiers and kde-redhat, on the other hand (and
this on a 3 GB downstream) ...several hours. ;0)
