Running Slackware current, with the flash player (installed in my
profile, not in the system location).

The Flash Player is known to not like X.org's composite extension,
which Xfwm can use, optionally. This option is set at build time.

Are you running a self built Xfce, or are you using the tgz's Pat just
uploaded a day or two ago? I honestly don't know if Pat built with the
compositor enabled . . .
