Upgrading to 4.2 from RC2 on Mandrake 10.1

Hello friends,

I remember having some trouble with upgrading from RC1 to RC2, when just
using URPMI and rebooting the computer due to other reasons, and at that
time I had to remove Xfce and then reinstall so my question is this the
recommended path when upgrading from RC2 to 4.2 as well?
