session binds to a specific display?

Greetings, I'm running xfce4-4.2.0 on Solaris 10. I use Xservers on 
different machines to connect to my Solaris machine remotely, i.e.

X :1 -query 192.168.0.254

The problem is I saved the origianl session while connected on display 
:1 if I connect on a different display my session is not restored, worse 
connecting from a Windows machine running cygwin Xserver does not even 
restore my old session if I connect on display :1

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.
