os-cillation.com's debian package can not use settings of 4.0.6

today, i noticed that xfce4.2 released and use os-cillation.com's apt
source to install it. when i startx, it is totally diferent from the
old 4.06. and i must set it up again, such as panel icons, themes,
userinterface, etc. this work is not a big one, but not perfect.

is it a must to erase these settings or just because of the deb packages?
