Installed XFCE4.2 RC3 on FreeBSD-CURRENT, Now No Anti-Aliased Fonts in Linux-Opera

Odd - Successfully got XFCE4.2 RC3 running on FreeBSD-CURRENT, and now I  
have no anti-aliased fonts any longer in Linux-Opera 8b1.  My fonts.conf,  
local.conf and local.conf-vera files all appear to have the proper entries  
in them (in fact, not to have changed from how they looked before when  
anti-aliasing was working), and I have symlinked the directory in which  
they appear, /usr/X11R6/etc/fonts, to /usr/compat/linux/etc and  
/usr/compat/linux/usr/X11R6/etc.  Reinstalling xorg and the bitstream-vera  
fonts changed nothing.

Anyone have a clue?  A portion of the opera -debugfont output is  
reproduced below.
