I dunno why this have happened, but here goes:
Try holding ALT and drag the window (you can then start dragging in
any part of the window).
That you don't have any caption on any window sounds like the window
manager isn't running. Press ALT-F2, type xfwm4 and press enter. That
should start it. To save your settings, log out and enable saving of
the session. That will make xfwm4 start every time you log in.
