The taskbar clock is a feature of the current SVN trunk, and isn't in
any release.  You can't put any other items in the taskbar.  If Jasper's
timetable goes as planned, 4.4 will eliminate the taskbar entirely, in
favor of being able to put multiple panels on the screen, with arbitrary
plugins in each.
