Hi, this is my first post, i just tried out xfce and i like it alot,
problem is i dont know how to get kinput2 to work with xfce. with gnome
i used ~/.gnomerc and put these lines in it:
LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 kinput2 &
export GTK_IM_MODULE=kinput2
export XMODIFIERS='@im=kinput2'
export XIM_PROG=canna
export CANNA_SERVER=unix
export CANNAHOST=unix
kinput2 -canna&
#export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8
export LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_NAME="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8"
export LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8
however it doesnt work when i put this in
~/.config/Xfce4-session/xfce4-session.rc
so where should i put these lines, or do i have to use another method to
get kinput2 as the default input method in xfce? thank you
