Hi, Jasper!

The problem is solved!
I was right assuming the new XDG structure is the reason. Since I have 
some gnome and kde stuff installed, there are script in my 
/etc/profile.d, which set XDG_CONFIG_DIRS and XDG_DATA_DIRS for gnome 
and kde. Now, after adding the corresponding pathes in them, everything 
  works fine.
