Replying to myself once again:
- now everything works with with Xmodmap
- apparently ~/.themes/xfwm4/custom.keys/keythemerc doesn't work (XFce
4.2 RC1 under Mandrake 10.1), I had to tweak the system-wide file
(/usr/share/themes/Default/xfwm4/keythemerc)
