Shortcut & First Mail

    Hello all,

    It's the first time i write on this discussion list. I'm GOBERT 
Geoffroy ; I'm 17 year old, I'm French, and i use Mandrakelinux for one 
year. I 've just became to use Debian GNU/Linux Sarge.
    First of all, I'd like to know how I must write here : Must I write 
in "plain text only" ? Or i can write in "Rich text" ?

    For one week, I was configuring Debian GNU/Linux Sarge for a Celeron 
350 Mhz with 32 PC 66. When I looked for a light window manager, people 
advise me XFCE. This week, I have met lots of problems :
    1. How can i add a shortcut on the Desktop ? Can't I ? How can I add 
a shortcut in the bottom bar ?
    2. When a windows is open, and when my mouse is on a button, all the 
button in the windows become blue... In the same way, when i write 
something in the [ALT]+[F2] window, (for exemple : "abiwrod" or 
"gnumeric" or "xmms"), the buttons become red !
    3. Finally i'd like to know, how i can add a poweroff button in the 
bottom bar ? [ i configure the OS for a extra-newb woman ! ]
