Gvim irritant wrt XFCE

IIRC i saw that note, but had no idea i was using a theme engine.
there were  2  fairly obvious engines, once i was alerted to them
--  gtk-engines-2.2.0  gtk-engines-xfce-2.1.7  -- ,
but there is also  librsvg-2.4.0-r1 , which lurks under 'gnome-base'
& which came out only via the Qpkg cmd described above.
