Xinerama & debian binaries ?

Hi,

I am new with xfce and i just installed the 4.0.3-3 version from debian
packages.
I am actually trying to run it with xinerama but i have many problems:

My second monitor starts well but when i do something on the first one,
exactly the same thing appear on the second one..... but, for example, the
mouse boutton can switch normally between the first and second screen...

I read somewhere that there were a compiling option to deal with (when you
install it from the source) but i do not know if that option was enabled
during the compilation of debian's binaries.

I have also another problem but it concerns more XFree.
I configured my dual screen with the fglrx (fglrxconfig) drivers that i
found on the ati website. My first monitor is a 17" LCD monitor and my
second one a 15" LCD monitor, best resolutions are 1280*1024 (1st one) and
1024*768 (2nd one). My problem is that i can't set that resolution
configuration: i must enable an option called "virtual 1280 1024" for the
second monitor, if not the displaying is very unstable, but it is very
unpractical to use

Is there a way to solve my problem ?
Thank you fro answers and sorry for bad english

Configuration: Debian Sid - XFree86 4.3.0.1 - XFce4.0.3-3 - Radeon 9500 Pro
