Workspace problem

OK, I get the following errors when I start up

xfce-mcs-manager:3537 .....("workspaces") has already
been loaded before

xfwm4: Workspace count not set ... 

The only thing I have in /usr/lib/xfce4 is
panel-plugins. And yes, I did compile and run the CVS
version prior to installing the 4.0.4 version. As far
as I can remember I did not uninstall the CVS version,
which is probably why I am having this issue, perhaps?
