default browser and default mail application

Hi all ,
I use Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird for Web browsing and 
Mailing/Newsing ...

I would like FireFox to launch Thunderbird when i click on a mailto link

What have a got to do ?

The same way , i woul like Thunderbird to launch a new tab of Firefox 
when i click on an http link included in a mail message ...
