Updating from one version to another

Hello folks,

first of all I would like to thank the team as well for a great job, I am getting more and more impressed, however I have a little wish and that is that I would love, if it is possible, to have patches released so it would be much easier to upgrade. Then one would not have to recompile the whole package....

BTW...is there anyone on the list that is using the FreeBSD port
