I'm sorry, but given the information you supplied, its not possible for me to 
tell what causes the problem. What could help to trace the problem: What's 
your Gtk+/Glib/Pango/Atk version? Which X server? Which operating system? Does 
it happen with other desktops/window manager as well? Is the problem related 
to a specific application? Is it reproducible?
