display resolution & windows positions

Hi all,

After recent updates of CVS's version there appears a
shifting of open windows and the panel with
switching between different screen resolutions.

There was no such behavior in earlier versions. My problem
is that I use 768x576 resolution for watching TV (max. of
the TV card), and when I came back to work at 1024x768 all
the windows and panel (I keep it in the right bottom corner)
are shifted to the left.

Is there a way to fix it easily in some way?
