Well...I re-did the bt after just re-compiling the plugins, without
getting any more information. So I re-compiled everything with debug
enabled and unfortunately the same thing:

(gdb) bt
#0 0x00480402 in ?? ()
#1 0x00b5fcbe in __lll_mutex_lock_wait () from /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0
#2 0x00b5cc84 in _L_mutex_lock_29 () from /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0
#3 0x08a7d9d0 in ?? ()
#4 0xfef48658 in ?? ()
#5 0x0017c1c0 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0
#6 0x08a71fb0 in ?? ()
#7 0x08a7d988 in ?? ()
#8 0xfef48668 in ?? ()
#9 0x0012374f in gdk_threads_leave () from /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0
Previous frame identical to this frame (corrupt stack?)

So, if there is something else that would help, let me know.

I can certainly live without the clipboard plug-in, so this is far from
a critical issue for me.
