Can xfce4 iconize to the desktop

Olivier,

I did try Rox... but it's not the answer. When you've got many minimized 
applications, you want to be able to set their iconic positions (and you want 
them to remember it) so you can easily find them back.

Regarding SunOneStudio, yes Xfce4 seems to handle it perfectly!

I could even add that when connecting to a Linux box from a Solaris9 
workstation (ssh'd xterm), the CDE/Motif window manager may have some display 
problems.
But the other way around (displaying Solaris applications on Xfce4/Linux) 
seems to be flawless (except for this "bloody" lack of minimized application 
icons :-)
