Yes! I agree, the simplicity and modularity is definitely what I like.
On the other hand I agree also with Jack Coates (jack_at_monkeynoodle.org),
the xffm is probably less "polished" module in xfce.

Also I'd like to mention (not with respect to xffm) the lack of some
ppp (dial-up) gui plugin or module. Now I use kppp - but don't like it at least
from the philosophical point of view.  :)
