no problem. You'll find that having artsd running all the time is its
own problem, as all sound producing apps will now need to use it. A
hodgepodge of solutions exists: artsd output plugins for xmms and xine,
artsplay or soundwrapper for other apps, artsdsp -m for games. There is
no way to make flash-plugin or crossover anything play through artsd.
Hopefully someday a single sound daemon will exist that all DEs can
use...
