Plugin Wishlist...

I've just recently run across XFCE, and I must say, it's just what the
doctor ordered.
I'm really tired of top heavy window managers / desktop environments.
There are a couple of plugins that would be useful, and once I'm
comfortable with XFCE, I'll start working on them.
However, if others are looking of plugins to implement, here are my
ideas:
1) A password applet (prompt for master password, "forget" authorization
after some configurable amount of time. Maybe use GnuPG and use comma
seperated data to maintain compatibility with text based terminals...
2) A ubiquitous network applet. Something that displays network
activity and provides configuration / activation capabilities. Nothing
I've seen can apply dialing profiles as is done in Windows products,
which is useful.
3) A power profile selection applet. Similar in function to the power
panel on sony laptops. There would be some number of default profiles,
but then you could add profiles and simply associate with a shell
command to activate. This could also handle dynamic profile changes.
I.e, read the ACPI AC supply state, and adjust cpufreq / screen
brigtness / etc. accordingly.
If these interest any developers, feel free to drop me an email.
