Tabbed terminals

After reading the discussion about the recent release of Terminal I 
thought I'd mention that there is another option available.  I've been 
using mrxvt (http://materm.sourceforge.net/) for a while now and it 
works quite well.  It does not have any gnome/kde dependencies and 
builds very easily if there are no packages for your distribution. It 
has tabs, transparency and background images (all configurable). 
Nothing against Terminal, just an FYI.
