Getting on the SuSE 9.1 menu

/opt/kde3/share/apps/kdm/sessions/

find xfce.desktop file or create it, check that it contains the 
following on the top:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=XSession
Exec=startxfce4
TryExec=startxfce4
Name=XFce4
