get rid of the awful window corners in xfwm4

I mean those little squares in bottom left and right corner, which cover a part of the window, which is like a letter, but it is awful, when I cant' read that letter when using xterm

These squares are not changed whatever theme I use - it doesn't have anything to do with the window border, which is actually ok - at least it doesn't cover the what is inside the window, apart from those squares in both bottom corners.

I believe it's only my problem using old version of xfwm4, because I don't see these squares on the screenshots at www.xfce.org
