Mime types

I asked a similar question earlier.  This is what I have learned.  To
set the mime types go to:

~/.xfce4/xffm/applications.xml

You can edit this file with gedit, or your choice of silliness.  On a
network installation I don't know where the master file is.  If someone
could tell me where this is, it would be fun to know and might be useful
for someone.  I hope this helps.
