xfce version 3 vs. 4 : missing features?

one other thing on the general subject of change... if you look through
the archives, you'll find that I was whinging as loudly as anyone about
two months ago. I was annoyed at the difficulty of compiling all these
packages, the shading behavior got me all torqued, and the taskbar was
unacceptable.

It took about a day to find workarounds and two or three more to get
used to them. I'm perfectly happy with 4 now. So give it a chance if you
want the new features, or don't. Change is after all the only constant.
