Odd mailing-list setting

Aha - I see what it's done, and it's not quite as simple as you suggest (nor
as bad as I thought, I think). The list server is taking a multipart/signed
MIME message and wrapping it in another layer of multipart/mixed to attach the
list signature. This is what's causing the problems - a two-layer MIME
encoding (multipart/signed as the first part of a multipart/mixed message). I
don't know much about MIME - is this a correct thing to do? If so, I'll get
onto the author of my MUA to support it properly.

The other lists I'm on don't wrap up the messages like this so I've not seen
it elsewhere. Other people on this list using GPG seem to be using inline
signatures rather than MIME, so avoid the problem.
