Same kind of problem with my RH9 at work: I have a panel reduced to the 
handlers (the settings are gone :-( ), and when I try to add a launcher 
or whatever, it crashes and I have the same kind of gtkspinbutton.c 
related messages.

But it works fine on my slackware 9 :)
